Prophetic Website I
hope you will enjoy this new area of expression of the prophetic for the Vineyard
Community Church fellowship. Please feel free to post dreams, visions and words
that you get during the week and on Saturday or Sunday services. It is our goal
to collect these words and post the relevant words to this site. I will be having
a prophetic committee helping to evaluate these words so that the "prophets
are judging the prophets words". I look forward to the wonderful usage of
this message board to enhance all that we do in the prophetic at VCC. -

VCC
Prophetic Ministry VCC has a high value for prophetic
ministry and offers both training and development. If you would like additional
information about this ministry contact Steve Gates. Prophetic
Training The VCC School of Prophecy is held every
Wed night during Sonlight club times. We have training, equipping, exercises,
and discussions revolving around the prophetic in our church. This is a great
place to explore the gift of prophecy and grow in your prophetic gifting. This
meeting is also a starting point to be recognized to be on one of our personal
prophetic teams. Come explore and "covet to prophecy" as Paul said in
1Cr 14:39 and help us to equip and build up the body of Christ.
Prophetic
Teams Prophetic teams minister to people signed up for prophetic
ministry on Sundays at 1:15 pm for about 20 minutes. The session is taped and
allows the person to receive and review later. Our teams consist of about 4 to
6 people with a team leader. Words and scriptures and visions are spoken one at
a time to allow each to be heard clearly. The team leader opens with prayer and
closes with prayer. Guidelines for words are: no negative words, keep words short
to allow the whole team to minister, and apply God's love to each word. We discourage
counseling after the session to allow the prophetic word to do it's proper work.
The teams have ministered to over 400 people during the last 5 yrs at VCC.
